New hospital flu rule: no kids

As a pro-active measure to safeguard agasint the spread of the flu to patients, Methodist Hospital has instituted a new visitor policy effective today, Thursday, Oct. 15:

Children under 14 are not allowed in the hospital.

Patient safety is our priority, according to the Hospital. If you are sick or have a cold, cough or fever, we ask that you please come back when you’re feeling better to visit your loved one. As prevention, remember to wash your hands often, use soap and warm water for 20 seconds and use hand sanitizers.
