Once again the annual Bargain Box holiday sale got off to a bustling start with the usual lines of people standing and sitting on the sidewalk out front waiting for the early opening at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
(Story contnues below video.)
The last official day of the sale at the Assistance League of Arcadia’s thrift store on Live Oak Avenue just a couple doors west of Second Avenue next to the Taco Treat stand, during which hours run from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., is Tuesday, Nov. 10, but the shop will continue its normal operations thereafter.
The holiday sale is the biggest annual fund-raiser for the group’s Operation School Bell program that provides clothing and supplies for children heading to school each fall.
