Snow at Westfield Promenade

If you missed the snow festivities at the Arcadia Community Center last weekend or can’t wait to see the white stuff again, you have another chance every Thursday and Friday night through Dec. 18 at the Westfield Santa Anita Promenade, where a “snow spectacle” is staged at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. featuring snow falling.

Also this Friday, Dec. 11, Westfield hosts its annual Westfield Works Wonders event to support the Arcadia Educational Foundation’s year-round fund-raising for Arcadia public schools by donating money raised through the sale of $5 booklets filled with discount offers from retailers throughout the mall on that day.

These are just two of the events created for the holidays this season by Westfield, which also recently opened its redesigned center court area with a bridge for easier access to both sides of the upper level.

Westfield Santa Anita’s “12 Days of Shopping” season of weekend celebrations runs through Sunday, Dec. 20.

On the designated 12 days — every Friday – Sunday between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the mall is offering enter-to-win shopping sprees, car and jewelry giveaways, merry holiday music, charitable giving opportunities, savory food samplings, and more.

“We know our customers will appreciate all of the unique extras which are part of the
12 Days of Shopping,” said Amanda Farnsworth, Marketing Director. “The outstanding offerings throughout the season include exclusive savings, contests, special events, activities and more.”

In addition to discounts on photos with Santa, complimentary gift wrap and free gifts with purchase, there are also contests for a chance to win a car, shopping sprees and trips, jewelry and electronics. Westfield will also provide shoppers the opportunity to help local people in need through charitable donations.

♪ On the ninth day . . . nine elves a-wrapping!            Sunday, December 13
Wrap up the season with free gift wrapping on  two purchases.

♪ On the tenth day . . . ten fashion moments!            Friday, December 18
Register to win a shopping trip to Los Angeles or
New York plus a $10,000 wardrobe.
