Mounted police talk at Chamber Forum Feb. 4

Bruce Smith of the police department’s Arcadia Mounted Enforcement Team will be the guest speaker at this month’s Arcadia Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Forum at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4.

Agent Smith will discuss the unit’s efforts to establish a better presence in the business districts.

As always, the forum is free and open to the public. Downtown merchants are particularly invited and encouraged to come hear this discussion about a mounted police presence in the area of their businesses.

The monthly one-hour forums, held on the first Thursday of each month in the Chamber conference room at 388 W. Huntington Drive (round building in the media at Holly Avenue) also include reports from representatives from the City of Arcadia, Los Angeles County, our state Senator and Assemblymen, and federal Representative.
