This is such fantastic news! As an AHS alum, I know how hard the Constitution Team worked and practiced and researched leading up to this annual competition. Congrats to the team, coaches and everyone who supported in achieving this great accomplishment!

Congratulations to all of you - students and coaches alike. I was privileged to travel to Washington D.C. with the team that won the state championship in 1997 (I was their counselor at AHS), and it was truly the thrill of a lifetime. Best of luck to each and every one of you. You make us proud!

Just to be clear - the video here is from last year's team (which placed 3rd at State) but it does do a great job of capturing the program and the amazing skills students learn and develop every year.
This is the 22nd year that the 'We the People' program has been active at AHS making for life changing experiences for upwards of 600-700 students.
HUGE shout out to community supporters Gary Kovacic, Bob Garrett, Jim Romo, Karyn McCreary and Jill Engel as well as all the teachers at Arcadia High School and other district schools who contributed to the overall educatoin of these students.
NEXT STOP - Washington D.C.!!!!!
