Concert series piano quartet

The 2010-11 season of the Church of the Good Shepherd Concert Series “Music in Sacred Spaces” will begin 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, with a debut performance by the newly-formed, L.A.-based piano quartet Central4.

The concert will feature piano quartets by composers from the Viennese School — Mozart, Mahler/Schnittke, and Schumann (in honor of his 200th birthday year).

As can also be seen on Facebook, Central4 features Elizabeth Hedman (violin), Michael Lieberman (viola), Paula Fehrenbach (cello) and Timothy Durkovic (piano).

A $15 donation is requested at the door.
