Murder suspect in custody

Murder suspect Michael Thomas Kelly was arrested by Arcadia police very early this morning at a local hospital.

The 44-year-old Kelly is the primary suspect in Wednesday’s murder of his 47-year-old brother Brian H. Kelly.

Police were contacted by Kelly’s family members and advised that Michael Kelly was at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Police located Kelly in the emergency room being treated by hospital staff for a minor medical problem. After being medically cleared by hospital personnel, Kelly was taken into custody and transported to the Arcadia Police Department jail for processing.

He was booked for murder and is being held on a $1 million bail.
