Betty Harris ACA award winner

Betty Harris, 86, was presented the annual Community Service Award from the Arcadia Chinese Association during the annual Chinese New Year luncheon and senior recognition lunch at the Arcadia Community Center on Feb. 18.

Harris, who formerly worked with the City of Arcadia during which she started many of the senior services programs, has been teaching English conversation classes at the Arcadia Public Library since 2007, among many other volunteer activities.
