The City’s free Thursday Summer Concert Series goes out on a big final note this Thursday, Aug. 16, when tribute band The Journey Experience takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn of City Hall, 240 W. Huntington Drive, east of the police station on Huntington Drive.
Don’t stop believin as this band from the Orange County area faithfully presents Journey any way you want it. You be Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin and wondering Who’s Crying Now while you watch the wheel in the sky and enjoy the band that headlines on the House of Blues circuit as well as the Tropicana Palms in Laughlin, Nevada.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating on the grass and enjoy a picnic dinner or try the burgers and other sandwiches cooked on site at da Burger Boss Gourmet Food Truck during the Recreation and Community Services Department series presented by Target. Kids of all ages will be entertained in a free kids’ fun zone area with many games and crafts.
