People everywhere love flowers and plants. They cut them, bring them into their homes, and put them in containers with water to enjoy their beautiful shapes and colors. But only in Japan has this simple practice developed into a sophisticated art form. Ikebana, one of the traditional arts from Japan is over 600 years old.
Mrs. Yumiko Kikkawa has been teaching Ikebana in the style of Ohara school for ten years. She and her students is having an exhibition on November 11, 2017.
