Well, the train has left the station, or at least it did several times late Friday evening from the new Arcadia station as you wil see in the video below. Two major Arcadia thoroughfares will be reduced to a single lane Monday, July 20: Westbound Huntington Drive at Fifth Avenue will be reduced to a single lane from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for construction. Gold Line Operations Campus unveiled


The quarter-billion dollar 24-acre Gold Line Operations Campus in Monrovia was unveiled this morning that showcased the first-ever Gold Level LEED-certified project of this type, featuring state-of-the-art environmental-friendly elements. Gold Line passes track test; March 2016?


Testing of the recently completed tracks of the Gold Line Foothill Extension light rail line from Pasadena to Azusa have been completed with success this week, with trains tested at speeds of up to 55 mph and adjustments made so that they clear all station platforms along the route, including Arcadia. Gold Line final rail laid


The final rail of the 11.5 mile foothill extension of the Gold Line was installed in a dignitary-filled ceremony in Azusa Oct. 18. Unanimous praise was paid to the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority for completing the rail line ahead of schedule and under budget.
