Three more homes in Arcadia were found to each be growing hundreds of marijuana plants Thursday, Jan. 22. The residences being used for illegal drug cultivation this time were in the 1800 block of South Baldwin Avenue and in the 300 block of West Woodruff Avenue, and the 2700 block of Gilpin Way. A robber using a gun against three employees of Carmine's Italian Restaurant at 311 E. Live Oak Avenue got away with $6,000 shortly after midnight this Sunday morning, Jan. 11, 2015. Two employees of Coco’s Bakery Restaurant, 1150 W. Colorado St., were locked in a freezer and robbed at gunpoint by a masked suspect after closing hours late Sunday, Jan. 4. The suspect, still at large, got away with a backpack full of cash.
