AHS golf team wins W Covina tourney

The Arcadia High School Apaches boys golf team won the West Covina High School Tournament at South Hills CC for the second year in a row, shooting a team total 375. Arcadia High School Boys Gold Varsity Golf team placed first at the West Covina tournament March 31 at South Hills Country Club. And the Cardinal team placed third. . The Arcadia High School Boys Varsity golf teams that were sent to the high desert classic golf tournament in Apple Valley this month took first place and second place, according to AHS Litetech Varsity Golf Coach Robert Greep. Arcadia national track meet 4/8-9

Cross country national champs

The Arcadia High School cross-country team won the Nike National Championship meet on Saturday in Portland, Ore. and finished the season undefeated. Even though the Apache team phenom Ammar Moussa, lost his first race of the season, finishing fourth, and the team's 92 points was the fewest ever scored in the meet, the team was thrilled with the outcome.
