East Meets West Parent Education Club, www.emwpec.org, has announced the 2020 Lunar New Year Gala on January 26, with the A Million of Possibilities as the party theme. It is the biggest annual fundraiser to support its annual program of community service outreach and youth leadership including the President’s Volunteer Service Award and High School Senior Student Scholarships. EMWPEC is an active and pioneer volunteer nonprofit in San Marino, a National Parent Organization of the Year in 2019. EMWPEC has sponsored the LNY annual gala to help supporting families who were victims from the Northern California fires and earthquakes in Taiwan.
The 2020 gala will be a holiday festival celebration with over 300 people attending the party at the Lake View Room, Almansor Court, Alhambra on January 26. The party will feature holiday luncheon buffet, award-winning cultural performances, games, silent auctions, and raffle prizes for many families come to enjoy.
