60-plus amazing Carcadia vehicles

For the second month in a row more than 55 cool cars — 60 this month — turned out for the monthly Carcadia @Route 66 on May 24, 2015 from more than a dozen cities as far away as Burbank, Diamond Bar and Covina.

Among the myriad vehicles were two vintage Panteras, several classic and brand new Corvettes, Barracudas, Mustangs, and Camaros, as well as a row of four-wheel drive trucks, a couple of 50 year-old Rancheros, and newer model BMWs, Scions, Nissans, Audi, and many others.

Carcadia @Route 66, created by Arcadia resident Glenn Oyoung’s Turn3 Creative and sponsored by the non-profit community events group Arcadia’s Best Foundation, is held every fourth Sunday of the month (next one is June 27) from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. in the parking lot behind Denny’s restaurant off Santa Anita Avenue at Huntington Drive. Participants are eligible for 15% off anything on the extensive menu during the event courtesy of Denny’s.
