AHS Gold from U.S. News mag

Arcadia High School recently earned a Gold Medal in U.S. News & World Reports‘ listing of the nation’s best high schools.

AHS ranked 64th in the state of California and 346th in the country — the top 1.5% — out of 22,000 public schools in 49 states.

It’s yet another of many feathers in the cap for AHS, following the recent third-place finish of the AHS Constitution Team in Washington D.C. at the National Finals — “We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution.” Only Oregon and Virginia were judged higher this year after Arcadia’s team was national champs in 2011 and champs for the state of California earlier this year.
