The Rose Bowl Hall of Fame, established in 1989, honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the history and excitement of the Rose Bowl Game and embody the highest levels of passion, strength, tradition and honor associated with “The Granddaddy of Them All.” The Class of 2025 includes USC standout running back Reggie Bush, former Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and Oregon’s record-setting running back LaMichael James. The inductees will ride along the Parade route in a historic 1926 American La France fire engine, originally ordered by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and stationed as Engine Company 36 in Sylmar. After serving the department for 20 years, the engine was retired and later acquired by the Arcadia Parent and Teacher Association, used for school events and parades. The Arcadia Firefighters’ Association began full restoration in 1981, completing it in 1983. Today, this beautifully preserved fire engine continues to appear in parades and celebrations, upholding a legacy of service and community.
