Arcadia Community Coordinating Council Present Mayor Paul Cheng

What does it take to be mayor? Join City of Arcadia Mayor Paul Cheng at the Arcadia Community Coordinating Council on Monday, May 1, 2023, as he shares what he's learned over the past three years, his vision for the city and bringing the community together.

When Mayor Cheng first arrived in Arcadia, he was a broken man. His mother had just lost the only man she ever knew, his father. When he left, Paul promised to take care of her. They arrived in America in the 1970s but needed another fresh start. Everyone said Arcadia is the city to raise your family. Everything was true. Since being here, the people of Arcadia welcomed him without reservation.

Arcadia is like no other city in California. Arcadia has the best police and fire departments, a beautiful racetrack, a world-class hospital, an incredible mall, unbelievable schools, awesome businesses, great residents, and the San Gabriel Mountains.

District Four is a unique part of Arcadia, and he is proud to be a member and represent it.

Two specific groups are why he is fortunate to call America home. The first is the American missionaries who met his father in the early 20th Century and the U.S. military. Because of his family’s experience with both, he calls this country his home. He cannot express to you how appreciative he is.

To learn more about Paul and the path to becoming Mayor, join the Arcadia Community Coordinating Council on May 1, 2023.
