As you know, the Baldwin Streetscape Project kicked off a few weeks ago and has been focused on sidewalks and curb ramps as well as street repairs. The work shifts to tree removal on Monday, September 16. We have reported to the community on the removal of these 46 Ficus trees on Baldwin Avenue and we have posted on the trees themselves, and let the usual agencies know of our plans. Despite all of this outreach, we still fully expect there to be questions and calls once residents see these trees being removed as this is a very impassioned issue.
