Beating, traffic death, gang

A woman driver died on the 210 Sunday, a pedestrian man on Huntington Drive suffered head trauma when hit by a car on Monday, and police are asking for anyone with information about a woman and a man attacked by robbers in the 99 Ranch Market:

* A 64-year-old Latino woman was killed Sunday night in a car crash after 9:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 210 Foothill Freeway west of Baldwin Avenue that resulted in a Sig-alert and a mile-long traffic back-up, according to the Pasadena Star-News.

* A pedestrian man in his 40s suffered head trauma and a broken collar bone after being hit by a car driven by a 21-year-old woman traveling eastbound after 1 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of East Huntington Drive.

* A missing 15-year-old boy was found by Arcadia police officers after 11:30 p.m. Sunday night at the Motel 6 at 225 Colorado Place along with two 16-year-old boys and a 21-year-old man, all believed to belong to a Duarte gang . They were all arrested on suspicion of vehicle burglary, grand theft auto, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

* Two men, one Asian in his 40s and about 5′ 6″ tall, grabbed a woman from behind, kicked her in the face and robbed her in broad daylight about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, in the parking lot of the 99 Ranch Market, 1300 South Golden West Avenue.

Because a 57-year-old man was pistol-whipped by a white male at 2 p.m. on Dec. 30, in an alley to the rear of the same shopping center, police are asking anyone with information about either robbery to call Arcadia police detectives at (626) 574-5160.
