Brush Painting Talk, Exhibit

Bring your lunch and listen to Master Ali Tam give a brief introduction on Chinese Brush Painting during this month’s Brown Bag Lunch talk from 12 noon – 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, on the outdoor patio of the Arcadia Historical Museum, 380 W. Huntington Dr. Please arrive promptly as seating is limited. Note: No free pizza will be provided this time, so if you want to eat while listening, you’re welcome to bring your own food.

A related exhibit at the Arcadia Historical Museum, The Brush Painting and Calligraphy of Master Tam, will run from Aug. 29 – Oct. 29, with an opening reception at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29.

Visit the Museum for this new and refreshing exhibit featuring the local talents of Master Ali Tam. Master Tam is world-renown in the arts of brush painting and calligraphy. He has put together this, never seen before, collection of his new artwork specially created for this exhibit.

The Museum is proud to present these truly magnificent pieces of art.

The popular Brown Bag Lunch talks are held the third Thursday of the month from noon until 12:30 p.m. Bring your lunch and come and listen to a guest speaker who will present snippets about Arcadia history, people, places, and events.

The Arcadia Historical Museum is located at 380 W. Huntington Drive, immediately behind the Community Center. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is always free.
