Knowing the basic principles of the popular spiritual self-help book A Course in Miracles is one thing, but putting them to work in your daily life is quite another. Reverend John Mundy, Ph.D., a lecturer in philosophy at Marist College in New York and at the State University of New York (SUNY), was mentored by Miracles scribe Dr. Helen Schucman from 1973 to 1980. He will be sharing the wisdom he gleaned from her at The Santa Anita Church on Thursday, August 27, at 7:00 p.m.
Mundy, who is also an ordained United Methodist minister, is the co-founder and senior minister emeritus of Interfaith Fellowship in New York City. He publishes Miracles magazine and has written eight books including Missouri Mystic, Awaken to Your Own Call, Listening to Your Inner Guide, and The Ten Laws of Happiness.
The church is located at 226 West Colorado Boulevard in Arcadia. Admission is $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door, although nobody will be denied entrance if they cannot pay.
