While Southern California Edison was taking a beating from politicians and customers last week for the way it handled the wind storm outage, the entire student body of Highland Oaks Elementary School were delivering the exact opposite message.
Students wrote thank you notes to Edison on a cutout of a light bulb. The light bulbs were put together on hangers as mobiles while the Student Council made several thank you posters.
Joining in the project. Planet Cookie in Arcadia made yellow lightbulb cookies to include with the delivery to Edison. Students, parents, and teachers delivered their appreciation last week to the Edison Command Post at Santa Anita Park.
The Edison employees were so pleased that they hung up the posters and light bulbs right away and gave the students a complete tour of their Command Post.
