This email is being written at the request of Dr Fakoory who commented on the excellent care given to this patient by Arcadia Fire personnel.

On November 11 Engine 106 and RA 106 responded to the home of a one year old female found to be in cardiac arrest. After starting CPR and attaching the monitor they found her to be in Ventricular fibrillation. After several defibrillations they restored her natural cardiac rhythm. The patient was transported to our ED and sustained another cardiac arrest on arrival here which was successfully defibrillated by Arcadia Fire personnel.

The care she received in the field was excellent and rapid and she has an excellent chance for recovery. The paramedics and firefighters, once again, did an awesome job in caring for this patient.
