On September 21, 2017, at approximately 6:32 p.m., the Arcadia Police Department received a report of a robbery at a hotel, located in the 300 block of East Huntington Drive. The preliminary investigation determined the male suspect entered the lobby of the location at about 6:29 p.m. The suspect displayed what appeared to be a black handgun, from inside his waistband, and demanded money from the cash drawer. The hotel clerk handed the suspect the cash drawer. The suspect took an unknown amount of cash from the drawer and fled on foot, southbound, towards Huntington Drive.
The suspect was described as follows:
Male Hispanic, approximately 40 years of age, 5’ 08” tall, medium-build, black mustache, wearing a black baseball cap, black and white long-sleeved plaid shirt, light colored pants, and black bandana partially covering his face.
