we received word this week that LA Turf Club, Inc. (Santa Anita Park) was honored by the LA County Sanitation District as being one of 320 companies that earned “good corporate citizens” status for the year 2022. These companies have met their limits for wastewater discharge for at least a year, maintained their environmental equipment, and fulfilled all permit requirements. The program applies to large scale and/or industrial businesses that are required to undertake certain environmental actions to reduce sewer overflows.
