On Thursday, July 13, 2017, at about 9:54 P.M., Arcadia Police Officers responded to the Von’s Pavilions Grocery Store located at 745 W. Naomi Ave., regarding a robbery that occurred. Investigation revealed that three black females in their mid-thirties, all wearing black clothing, had been in the store and were leaving without paying for their selected merchandise. The Three women were confronted by a store security guard who attempted to stop them. In order to get away with their stolen merchandise, one of the females used a stun-gun type weapon to shock the security guard. Fearing for his safety, he stepped away and watched as the three women entered a red vehicle. The vehicle was last seen fleeing east on Naomi Avenue. The security guard reported minor injury, but declined immediate medical attention.
