This residence was probably built in the 1920s. The Cuccia family owned a peach orchard covering 60 acres, extending from Lovell to Holly Avenue and from Le Roy to Norman. Cuccia built a block of stores on the south-east corner of Baldwin and Duarte in 1925, establishing what will become known as the “West Arcadia Business District.”
The Cuccia residence today belongs to Our Savior Lutheran Church and the building houses a segment of the church’s education program.
